Neutrogena Oil-Free Moisturizer For Combination Skin.

Neutrogena Oil-Free Moisturizer For Combination Skin

I like to try new things out every once in a while. Specifically, cheaper alternatives to stuff I've used before. My previous moisturizer was the Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel. I've used that for a few years now, and I was fine with it. Loved it, actually. But the price wasn't so nice to me, so I decided I wanted to test out some drugstore alternatives.

I'm pretty sure I've used this line of moisturizer waaaaay back in the day (probably high school) and it worked okay. Now that I have a better eye for what's good for my skin and what's not, I've noticed some of this product's faults. It's very...lotion like, if that makes any sense. Even when I use the smallest dollop of it, it still feels like I'm slathering a liquidy-based body lotion on my face. And I have oily skin, so....no bueno.

Throughout the day, I do notice my face being oily. But my face is usually oily no matter what I do, so I don't think I can blame this for all of that. I will say that it doesn't help keep the oil at bay like other moisturizers I've used.

I'm going to keep using the Neutrogena Oil-Free Moisturizer for a while and see if anything changes. At a drugstore price, it's worth the try.
