Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water.

Strange And Pretty Garnier Micellar Water

For a while now, the beauty community has been going nuts over different types of micellar waters. Bioderma seemed to be at the top of the totem pole, with others also doing the job. Here in the States, we didn't have much to chose from. Finally we got Garnier's Micellar Cleansing water, and I couldn't wait to try it out.

I have never ever used a micellar water. I usually use my Yes To Cucumbers Wipes, Ponds Cold Cream, or just a baby wipe to help remove my makeup. I never really bothered with many makeup removers, since most of the good ones were oil based, and I hate that greasy feeling they leave on my face. So this specifically being named a "water" intrigued me. Does it really feel like water? Will it take off my eight layers of mascara? Will it break me the hell out? Who knows.

I've been using this for about two weeks now. I like it. It truly does feel like water on my skin. I really like that. No greasy film left behind. And it does a nice job of taking my makeup off. However, I have yet to test it out on a serious smokey eye (many layers of mascara, long lasting eyeshadows, tons of eyeliner, and primer). So I'd say I haven't truly put it to the test yet.

I'm going to keep testing this out, and probably do an update in a few weeks. I really want to see how this battles a full eye look.

Have you tried any micellar waters that are on the market?
