Like many people, I was all for the gym and being fit for a good while. Then I got lazy. And lazier. And lazier. I've been trying to fix that as of late, and I'm crossing my fingers that I'll stick to it this time around. Here are some reasons why I decided to get back into the game.
1. It Cures Boredum
I get bored super duper easily. Now that I'm a gym member, I can just get up and go workout if I can't find anything else to do. It's better than sitting around chomping on cookies and watching reality television marathons, so why not. And that whole idle hands thing is pretty much true, and I know that all too well. So off to the gym I go if I'm bored out of my mind.
2. I'm Gonna End Up Looking Great
Let's not forget this: working out and being healthy will make you look and feel better. I'll (hopefully) reach my health goals, which in turn will give me more confidence. And I'll also reach my physical body goals (which is truly only secondary to how you actually feel living a healthier life), and that'll be progress I can see and be happy about as well.
3. I Already Look Great (in my cute gym clothes)
I just recently got a bunch of new cute gym outfits. I know this sounds vain, but, hear me out. For me, looking cute in my gym wear makes me more motivated to go to the gym
4. It Makes Me Feel Accomplished
Knowing it's a goal that I've set for myself, and have wanted to set/achieve for years will make me feel like I've done something. Feeling like you've accomplished something feels damn good. I'm all for confidence boosting, especially when it's with a legit reason to have your confidence sky high. I'm unfortunately one of those people who feel like they never fully finish their goals, and this is my chance to finally do that. My body and my mind will be extremely grateful for it.
