Next up in my installment of my Current Everyday Makeup me is lips. Now, I have a few "regular" lip combos I rotate between. Nude, bold, and a barely-there look that's usually just a little bit of lip gloss. This is my usual set up for a nude lip.
From Left to Right (from swatches):
MAC Viva Glam 2 Lipstick
It may look a little too nude for my skin tone, but with a darker lip liner it's perfect. It's a satin finish, so it's not as easy to apply as a lustre, but I put up with it because it's such a nice nude.
Lancome Lipstick in Rose Defile
I'm running out of my beloved Airy Fairy (Rimmel) lipstick, so I've turned to this. I absolutely love this lipstick. It's damn near identical to Airy Fairy, and it's almost just as creamy. It helps make Viva Glam 2 more wearable, because it gives more life to how nude that one is. I usually put this right on top of the Viva Glam lippie.
MAC Cremesheen Lip Gloss in Ever So Rich
This gloss looks like a pale pink in the tube, but it's very sheer and light once you actually apply it. I like it because it gives me shine to my lips without any shimmer or anything - which a lot of my glosses tend to have. Also, it's not thick, sticky, or goopy or anything. It's super comfortable on the lips.
MAC Lip Liner in Cork
I use this liner with pretty much anything. I love wearing lighter, paler colors (bubblegum pinks, anyone), and this is essential to helping them blend in with my skin tone better. I've purchased this time and time again, and will always have it in my beauty arsenal.
