Updated Daily Face Products.

Not much has changed since my last rotation of every day face products. But there's a few new bits and bobs in my collection.

  • ELF High Definition Powder - I needed another translucent powder after I ran out of my MUFE one, and this seems to be working just as good, and at a fraction of the cost.
  • Revlon PhotoReady Foundation in Cappuccino - No 100% sure how I feel about this yet. I will say that the color match is perfect for me, and I'm a big fan of the no-mess the pump guarantees. But the finish and lasting power is still in question, so I'll have to try it out a little longer to give my take on it.
  • L.A. Girl Concealer in Chestnut - Love this stuff. I raved about it here, and still stick with everything I said back then. Perfection in a tube.
  • MAC Prolongwear Concealer in NW40 - Hate this stuff on its own, but with the L.A. Girl concealer it's wonderful.
  • Laura Gellar Tinted Primer - I got this in a Birchbox, I believe. And it's become one of the few primers I've tried recently that I can actually tolerate. It's not silicone based, so it really just feels like a moisturizer. I'm a fan.

  • ELF Blush in Fuchsia Fusion - Kinda reminds me of Nar's Angelica blush. Actually, they're really the same product. Even though I feel Fuchsia Fusion is just a bit chalky. Not too much that it's unbearable, but just a tad.
  • ELF Blush (Highlighter) in Gotta Glow - I've only had this for about a month but it's become one of my favorites. It has such a nice golden sheen to it, it's perfect for my skin tone.
  • MAC Blush (Contour) in Blunt - For some reason I still don't think this is dark enough for my contour, but I'm pretty sure it is. I like things that are extreme, but I know my contour shouldn't really look like I've contoured. So in that sense, it's perfect.

  • Incolor Liquid Liner in Black - My favorite eyeliner...ever. I barely even use pencil liner for my upper lash - I've gotten so accustomed to this that it's just easier for me to use a liquid. It's a nice black, and the tip is firm enough for easy application. Also, it's just about $2. Two dollars guys. Two.
  • Mary Kay Mascara in Black - My coworker got me into this mascara a few years ago. It's one of my favorites. It does an amazing job at seperating and lengthening my lashes (not much volume though, but that's fine because my lashes are naturally thick and curly), so it's perfect for the daytime, natural look.
  • Maybelline Great Lash Mascara in Blackest Black - I don't always use two mascaras, but if I do want to add a little extra ump after I've put on the Mary Kay, I'll add a coat of this.
  • MAC Eyeliner in Feline - I use this on my waterline, and if I'm doing a smokey look and I want to smudge my liner. I hate that this is limited edition (although I do have a back up of it).

How many products do you use for your everyday face?

  1. I love the e.l.f. HD powder and both e.l.f. blushes! They are almost identical to NARS Angelika and Albatross for a fraction of the price.

I need to find a blush that's good for contouring. I wouldn't even know where to begin with that!!
