Review: Lancome Comforting Creamy Foaming Cleanser.

What It’s Supposed To Do:
This rich and creamy cleanser with nurturing Rosehip Oil and soothing Rose de France delivers a voluminous foam to gently remove makeup, even waterproof, dissolve impurities and leave the skin soft and supple.

What It Does For Me:
My first ever wash with this left my face a tad bit dry and tight, not too uncomfortable but I wasn’t a fan of the feeling. I found that odd, since it’s supposed to be for dry skin. I actually have very oily skin, so I didn’t expect this to take away my skin’s oils. I’m guessing that initial reaction was just my face being weird trying a new product, because after a few more washes it no longer had this effect.

Maybe it’s just me, but this product was just…okay in my opinion. And by “okay” I mean it didn’t do anything bad to my skin, but it didn’t do anything extravagant either. I (luckily) don’t have to really worry about acne or regular pimples, my main skin issues are some blemishes and how oily it is. I personally haven’t noticed much of a change in the way my face looks, but numerous people have complimented me on how clear and nice it looks since I started to use this cleanser.

Pros:
Helps take off my makeup, no fimly residue left behind.

Cons:
Dried out my skin the first couple of uses.

Final Thoughts:
I like not having to worry about a product irritating my skin, and for that I will be repurchasing this. I know it’s okay as a cleanser and I feel safe with it. However, if something better comes along, I wouldn’t have a problem shelving this for a while.
