No Regrets, Just Love: L.A. Girl Pro Conceal.

I’ve been on the hunt for new concealer for the past six months or so. I was running out of the colors I use from my Makeup Forever concealer palette, so I needed a replacement quick. I ordered L.A. Girl Pro Conceal and it’s pretty much the best thing ever.

I ended up getting two colors, Chestnut and Toffee, simply because I wasn’t sure which shade was best for me. Chestnut matches my skin tone perfectly. I use it for blemishes and my under eye (I don’t always color correct my under eye area, so I’m perfectly fine with using one concealer all over my face). I don’t think I’ve ever found a concealer that matches me this much, THAT is amazing.

I’m a big fan of the Pro Conceal’s consistency. A lot of concealers I come across are either way too watery and don’t hide anything at all, or way too thick and are hard to blend. This one is somewhere in the middle, but leaning toward watery. It feels perfect and I never have to worry about it slipping off five minutes after I put it on, or it caking up later on in the day.

What else can I rave about? The price! This tube was only $2.50 (I’m sure I paid a little less when I ordered from Cherry Culture because I most likely hauled during a sale). That’s why I didn’t mind getting two colors at once (Toffee is slightly lighter but when I run out of the one I’m using now I’ll still end up using it).

The only thing I’m NOT a fan of is the fact that it separates. Whenever I go to squeeze out product, I get a watery liquid first and eventually I get concealer. I put the concealer on the back of my hand first, so I just mix the liquid and concealer together with the product’s brush and everything is fine again.

What’s your favorite concealer?  And what kind of concealer do you prefer: one that has more of a liquid feel, or one more on the creamy side?
